THE MONEY, PLAINLY

How our pricing works

Free design first. A fixed figure in writing. You only pay if you love it. Here is the whole arrangement, without a sales call.

Here is how the money works. We design and build your new website first, for free. You only pay if you love it. When we do quote, it is a single fixed figure agreed in writing before anything starts — no hourly billing and no surprises on the invoice.

That is unusual enough that people assume there is something hidden in it. There isn't. The reason we work this way is simple: we would rather show you than sell you, and the fastest way to prove a website is better is to build it and hand you your own phone.

THE ORDER OF EVENTS

Four steps, and the risk sits with us for the first three

STEP 01

A free audit, back in 48 hours

Send us your web address. We look at the site and your search visibility and write back within 48 hours with what is working, what is losing you money, and what we would do about it. Free, and yours to keep even if you never speak to us again.

STEP 02

A fixed figure, in writing

If it looks like a job worth doing, we quote it — one number, in writing, with the scope spelled out in plain words. Nothing is agreed until you agree to it.

STEP 03

We design and build it — free

Not a mockup. The real site, finished, so you can open it on your own phone and judge the thing itself rather than a picture of it.

STEP 04

You only pay if you love it

If it is not better than what you have got, you owe us nothing and we shake hands. If it is, you pay the figure we agreed in step two — the same figure, unchanged.

WHAT MOVES THE NUMBER

Why we quote instead of publishing a price list

Three things decide what a site costs, and none of them can be guessed from the outside:

  • How many pages the business actually needs. A renderer covering a 25-mile radius and a 428-acre resort with a spa and a restaurant need different sites.
  • Whether money changes hands on the site. Direct booking, availability search and ecommerce are real engineering. Whalesborough, Atlantic Bays and Nanny Wendy's all take money or bookings; a quote form does not.
  • Whether you want the search and ads work as well, or just the website.

So we look first and quote second. It takes 48 hours and costs you nothing.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

The money questions, answered

Why aren't there prices on this page?

Because a number without a scope is a guess, and we would rather give you a real figure than a range you cannot hold us to. A one-page site for a sole trader and a resort with a booking engine across 26 cottages are not the same job.

What we will not do is make you sit through a sales call to find out. Send us the web address and we will send back a written audit and a fixed figure within 48 hours, free.

So when do I find out what it costs?

Before you have spent anything, and before you have committed to anything. The order is: free audit within 48 hours, then a fixed written quote, then — if you want to go ahead — we build the site, and you still only pay if you love it.

Do you charge by the hour?

No. Every job is a fixed figure agreed in writing before we start. Hourly billing puts the risk of the work overrunning onto you; we would rather carry that ourselves.

What is included in the fixed price?

The design, the build, the copywriting if you want it, the technical search work underneath, and getting it live. The quote says exactly what is in it, in plain words, before you agree to anything.

Is there a monthly fee?

Not for the website — that is a one-off. Search and advertising work is continuous by nature, so if you want us running those it is quoted separately, and you can stop it whenever you like.

Do I own the site, or am I renting it?

You own it. It is yours, and it is built so you can edit it yourself rather than paying somebody a day rate to change your opening hours.

What if I don't love it?

Then you owe us nothing and we shake hands. That is not a formality — it is the actual arrangement, and it is why we build the real site rather than showing you a mockup.

Is there a contract or a tie-in?

Nothing that locks you in. You own the site and you can take it elsewhere. Ongoing search or ads work can be stopped whenever you want it stopped.
