Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Peake Management collects through peakemanagement.com, why, and what your rights are.
Who we are
Peake Management Ltd (trading as Peake Management), registered in England & Wales under company number 15574401, is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We're based in Bude, Cornwall, United Kingdom.
Contact: leonard@peakemanagement.com · 07944 573243
What data we collect
- Name, business name, email address and phone number — if you submit our enquiry form
- What you tell us about your business, sector and current website — if you submit our enquiry form
- Anonymous, aggregate page-visit data — via Plausible Analytics (no cookies, not linked to you personally)
- Advertising identifiers and browsing data for ad-attribution — only if you accept our cookie banner. This works two ways: the Meta Pixel in your browser, and a server-side Conversions API call made from our own server when you send an enquiry. The server-side call transmits your IP address and browser user agent to Meta.
How and why we use your data
| Data | Purpose | Lawful basis | How long we keep it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Name, business name, email, phone, enquiry details | Replying to your enquiry and preparing a free audit/design | Article 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request before entering a contract | While we're in touch about your project, then up to 24 months |
| Aggregate visit data (Plausible) | Understanding which pages are useful and improving the site | Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interest in knowing whether our own site works | Retained by Plausible in aggregate only; no individual record exists to delete |
| Advertising data (Meta Pixel and server-side Conversions API, including IP address and user agent) | Seeing which ads led to an enquiry, and showing our ads to relevant people | Article 6(1)(a) — consent, given via the cookie banner | Held by Meta under their retention schedule; we keep no copy. Withdrawing consent stops all further collection |
Where we rely on legitimate interest, you have the right to object under Article 21 — email us and we'll stop, unless we have compelling grounds we can evidence. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time via Cookie Settings, and doing so is as easy as giving it was.
Who we share your data with
- Netlify, Inc. — hosts the site and processes enquiry-form submissions
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — receives advertising data, but only if you accept the cookie banner
- Plausible Analytics — processes anonymous, aggregate visit statistics
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data for as long as we're actively in touch with you about your project, and for up to 24 months afterwards in case you get back in touch — then we delete it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Restrict or object to how we process it
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time (for anything based on consent, like the Meta Pixel)
To exercise any of these, email leonard@peakemanagement.com.
How to complain
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk, or call 0303 123 1113.
International transfers
Meta Platforms, Inc. and Netlify, Inc. are United States companies and process data outside the UK. Those transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for details of the safeguards in place by emailing leonard@peakemanagement.com. See also Meta's privacy policy.
The fonts on this site are served from our own server rather than from Google Fonts, so no third party receives your IP address simply because you loaded a page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be here, with the date at the top.
